5" Wally Bangers

For several years a lot of my loyal customers, tournament fisherman and some guides I know have been after me to come up with a bigger piece of plastic. We now have what should make everyone happy. We have named it “Hutchies-Wally-Banger”. What you have here is basically a fluke body, my personal favorite pieces of plastic, especially for big fish. This body then ends up with a ring worm tail. This is a true 5 inch body but its streamlined and looks as natural as a true big minnow swimming through the water.

They’re made with virgin plastic so there nice and soft for the finicky bites and the tail is up so you can drag it slowly and still get good action. We have 9 different fish catching colors to choose from with more coming. In good current or snap jigging you get action from both the back half of the tail sweeping from side to side as well as the curl tail on the end. Believe me when I tell you that this is without a doubt a tail that has to be in your box no matter what season it is.

Here is one other thing we’ve added too. A normal jig will without a doubt work with these bigger tails. But we have made some special jigs for these bigger pieces of plastic. Our normal hook size for a 1\8 & 3\16 is a 1/0. Most manufacturers use a # 1 but we are offering these two sizes in a 3/0 hook. For a 1/4, 3/8 & 1\2 we use a 2/0 but now you can get them with a 4/0 hook. These are great for any type of big bulky baits. You can look at the comparison chart below to get a better idea. We will sell the 1/8, 3/16,1/4, 3/8 & 1/2 in either plain lead, gold on top silver on the bottom or purple on top and silver on the bottom. These will be the only colors we will have at this time.
